We are open 7 days a week, and serve food during our opening hours every day.
Opening times on Thursday to Sunday are 10am – 11pm. Monday to Wednesday we’re open between 10am and 10pm. Customers who are already in JJ Crossfield’s by 10pm will be able to continue enjoying their drinks. Our aim is to stagger the times our customers leave, reducing the impact on our neighbours as much as possible.

We’re a very short walk away from Arnside train station, which has great connections between Barrow-in-Furness and Lancaster. If you’re driving, there’s free parking further along the Promenade in Arnside with no time limit for your stay. There are parking bays directly outside JJ Crossfield’s, but they are short-stay spaces between Monday and Saturday every week. On Sunday, there are no parking restrictions in Arnside. Our address is 35, The Promenade, Arnside.

We don’t take bookings – it helps us ensure that our guests have the utmost flexibility around when they join us.

You can find us on Facebook at JJ Crossfield’s. We’re also in Instagram, and our handle is JJCrossfields. We’d love to hear from you, so feel free to tag us in any pictures and leave comments.

Yes! We’re fully stocked with treats and water bowls for four-legged companions, who are very welcome here. Join us after a walk up the knott or a saunter down the beach – we’re no strangers to muddy paws and sand here.

Everyone is welcome to join us at JJ Crossfield’s. We have child-changing facilities for our youngest guests, and lots of different soft drink options for everyone to enjoy.

Yes, we have wifi available at JJ Crossfield’s, please ask one of our colleagues for the password when you arrive.

We take the needs and equal treatment of all our guests extremely seriously, and our aspiration is to be a fully accessible venue. At the moment the entryway to the building has steps, but we’re working through options with the council to get this changed. Though planning limitations have prevented us from being fully accessible from day one, we’ve made lots of changes inside the building in anticipation of step-free access in the future. We’ve improved accessibility with ramps throughout, as well as a large new disabled-access toilet with changing facilities to support families with young children too.

We’re proud to support local charities and events wherever we can. Contact us at [email protected] if you’d like to discuss this more with us.
